Tortang Minced Pork with String Beans

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg minced pork
  • 4 pcs eggs
  • 6 pcs string beans (cut into small round pieces)
  • 2 pcs tiny cube carrots (optional)
  • 1 bunch spring onion chopped
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 3 tsp cooking oil enough to fry

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix minced pork, eggs, string beans, carrots, corn starch, and spring onion. Mix thoroughly and season it with salt and pepper.
  • In a frying pan, heat cooking oil. Scoop the mixture and make a kind of patty or a pancake shape. Adjust heat to low. Flip and fry until fully cooked. Repeat the same process.

Notes

  • Make sure the heat is not high or else it will burn.
  • Cover it with the lid to make sure it is fully cooked.
  • Add chicken powder a little bit.
  • Soak string beans in salt water. Wash and drain properly.
  • Dip with other condiments you prefer.
  • Best served while still hot. Good for steamed rice or fried rice.
