Ginisang Kabute / Sauteed Mushroom

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves  garlic, minced
  • 1 pc medium onion
  • 1 tbsp  cooking oil
  • 400 g mushroom (kabute), wash, cut half lengthwise, and clean in a running water

Seasoning: Mix it in a bowl

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp  Ginisa mix/chicken powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 dash salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a stir-fry pan, heat the oil. Saute garlic until fragrant and onion become translucent.
  • Add mushrooms and stir-fry for two minutes.
  • Add seasoning, mix it thoroughly and simmer until fully cooked.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Best served while it’s hot.

Notes

Cooking Tips:

  • You can sprinkle with cut scallions.
  • Add meat like pork, chicken, beef or shrimp.
  • Do not overcook your mushroom.
  • Do not soak mushrooms for a long period. In a large bowl fill with water and toss them for a minute until the dirt settles to the bottom or simply place mushrooms in a colander and spray them in running water until the dirt washes away.
