Sirloin Pork Chop with Potato

In this simple recipe, I used sirloin pork chop because it is one of the leaner cuts among the different pork chop cuts. It is rich in protein and has little to no fats.

Ingredients

  • 500 g sirloin pork chop cut into strips (2 inches)
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes cut into strip
  • Cooking oil

Seasoning

  • Mix them together in a small bowl
  • 2 tbsps oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Shaoxing wine (optional)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Cooking Procedure

Heat the frying pan, and add cooking oil. Stir-fry strip potatoes until cooked. Remove and set it aside.

On medium heat, saute garlic until golden brown. Add strip pork. Keep stirring, add seasoning and cooked potato, and mix well until the sauce is coated together. Cover and simmer until pork is fully cooked in low heat. Taste and serve.

Cooking/Preparation Tips:

  • Cooked properly the potatoes but not overcooked nor undercooked.
  • Can serve it with rice or without rice.
  • Garnish it with spring onion or red chili.
  • This meal is good to prepare for the lunch box.
