Stir-fried broccoli with shrimp is a Chinese dish but often served by Filipino domestic helpers at the table of their Chinese employers. This is a simple vegetable menu that is easy to cook, and packed with nutritious ingredients.
1/2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 white beaten egg
160g shelled prawns
1/3 tsp salt
1/3 tsp sugar
1.) Cut broccoli into florets and wash. Blanch for 2 min. Remove and drain.
2.) Remove intestines fr prawns, wash and season with salt and pepper. Deep fry briefly until almost done. Drain.
3.) Beat white egg.
4.) Heat 2 1/2 tbsp hot oil. Saute crushed garlic with broccoli and add in seasonings with prawn. Keep stirring, then follow the white egg.
Cover it with a lid awhile and serve while it’s hot.
